Mark Tee Armstrong is an American former college basketball player for the Loyola Marymount Lions men's basketball in the West Coast Conference (WCC).

Biography[edit]

Mark Armstrong was born in Riverside, California and graduated from Ramona High School (Riverside, California)|Ramona High School. He played college basketball at Loyola Marymount University from 1984-85 season to 1987-88 season[1]. For his career, Armstrong Stats in basketball|averaged 7.4 Point (basketball)|points per game and 7.2 Rebound (sports)|rebounds per game while Starting lineup|starting 109 out of 115 games[2]. During the 1987-88 season, Armstrong was a key component to the Lions success. Playing in and starting all 32 games for the Lions, helping in leading them to a 28-4 Record (sport)|record and 14-0 in conference play. The 10th-Seed (sports)|seeded Lions would upset the 7th-Seed (sports)|seeded University of Wyoming|Wyoming team before being defeated by the 2nd-Seed (sports)|seeded North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball|North Carolina team.[3][4]

Personal Life[edit]

Mark Armstrong is currently a high school basketball coach, previously coaching at American Leadership Academy High School for 3 seasons.[5]
