Matooki is a small village of 315 hectares in Pahari Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Matooki depends on Kaman, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Matooki is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Matooki's pin code is 321022[4], and village code is 00966100. The area of Matooki is segregated as 152 hectares irrigated area, 141 hectares unirrigated, the 20 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 2 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Matooki has One post office (Matuki B.O) and One public telephone. Matooki has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Matooki is a census village in the district of Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1675 and has total administration over 281 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Matooki has 290 children, 158 boys and 132 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 356 (21.25%) males constitute 199 (11.88%) of the population and females 157 (9.37%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 135 (8.06%) males constitute 73 (4.36%) of the population and females 62 (3.70%).

The workforce is 453 male, 417 female with 337 (38.74%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 276 males and 61 females. 124 males and 25 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 45 male and 21 female agricultural labor. 533 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kaman and Bharatpur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
