Maytha is a small village of 725 hectares in Atru Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Maytha depends on Baran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Maytha is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Maytha's pin code is 325223[4], and village code is 03883500. The area of Maytha is segregated as 319 hectares irrigated area, 15 hectares unirrigated, the 241 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 150 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Maytha has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Maytha is a census village in the district of Baran, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 995 and has total administration over 196 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 378 (37.99%) males constitute 191 (19.20%) of the population and females 187 (18.79%).

According to a census 2011 report, 357 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 255 male, 102 female with 258 (72.27%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 222 males and 36 females. 168 males and 7 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 23 male and 24 female agricultural labor. 99 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Baran to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
