    Media is a small village of 0 hectares in Nawabganj Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Media depends on masauli, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river,One canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Media's pin code is 225204[4], and village code is 05779200.

    Media is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1721 and has total administration over 302 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

    They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of masauli and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
