Mesh Alloys is a Kenya, Founder & CEO of technology company Sendy, An Entrepreneur, passionate about open technologies with a focus on mobile emerging technologies, logistics, and mobile payments. He is also the co-founder of On Demand Mobile, Servetech Systems, and Boya LLC.
Mesh Alloys was born to Miriam and Julius Ouma in 1987 The youngest of 4 siblings. He began learning computer programming at the age of thirteen at Laser Hill Academy. He took his first computer course at the Institute of Software Technology. Mesh was educated at the University of Nairobi at the College of Architecture and Engineering.
After attending the University of Nairobi for a time, Mesh lost interest in Architecture and the built environment. In 2008 he set up a software company Merlloyds Technologies and built premium service solutions (sms,ussd, mms) on top of Telecommunications networks. Merlloyds Technologies was Acquired by Multimedia Mobile Ltd a digital advertising agency. In 2011 Mesh set up another software company MTL Systems and built solutions for logistics and transportation companies, Multinational retail consumer goods companies, learning institutions and Financial institutions East and Southern Africa. He exited MTL systems in Early 2014 and founded Sendy in the same year with Evanson Biwott, Don Okoth and Malaika Judd and would go to launch Sendy in January 2015.
Named top 40 under 40 twice. Won East Africa Pivots, East Mobile Competition, twice. Named East African Young Entrepreneurs to watch in 2011. Alibaba business school - entrepreneur fellow. Member of the Entrepreneurs Organization.
