Micharn Tess Pollock is a South Africa writer and artist. Micharn Pollock was born in East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa and is the oldest of three daughters. Her short script, Sizwe, the heartwarming story of Nosizwe (Sizwe), a young girl from the Transkei[1], received recognition in 2021[2]. Sizwe won a Platinum Award as the Best Short Script in the Independent Shorts Awards and won Best Script at the California International Shorts Festival.
Micharn Pollock's contemporary artwork has been exhibited[2] and sold in Cape Town galleries.[3] Her mediums inlcude oil paint and pen on paper. Her style draws upon the blind drawing technique[4] and invokes a spontaneous effect.
