Midiyan is a small village of 1118 hectares in Makrana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Midiyan depends on Makrana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 1.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Midiyan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Midiyan's pin code is 341503[4], and village code is 01888100. The area of Midiyan is segregated as 2 hectares irrigated area, 1029.43 hectares unirrigated, the 54 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 33 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Midiyan is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2077 and has total administration over 371 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 435 (20.94%) males constitute 234 (11.27%) of the population and females 201 (9.68%).

The workforce is 527 male, 512 female with 543 (52.26%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 375 males and 168 females. 231 males and 148 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 55 male and 13 female agricultural labor. 496 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Makrana and Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
