Mindawas is a small village of 1313 hectares in Bagora Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mindawas depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 170.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mindawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Mindawas's pin code is 343030[4], and village code is 02311400. The area of Mindawas is segregated as 469.62 hectares irrigated area, 500.24 hectares unirrigated, the 141 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 202 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mindawas is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2365 and has total administration over 378 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 386 (16.32%) males constitute 208 (8.79%) of the population and females 178 (7.53%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 509 (21.52%) males constitute 271 (11.46%) of the population and females 238 (10.06%).

The workforce is 636 male, 395 female with 953 (92.43%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 622 males and 331 females. 310 males and 192 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 120 male and 126 female agricultural labor. 78 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell wool and make their living.
