Mirzapur is a small village of 391 hectares in Mandawar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mirzapur depends on KHAIRTHAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 147.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mirzapur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mirzapur's pin code is 301706[4], and village code is 00771700. The area of Mirzapur is segregated as 347 hectares irrigated area, the 18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 26 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mirzapur is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1615 and has total administration over 296 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 290 (17.96%) males constitute 167 (10.34%) of the population and females 123 (7.62%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 83 (5.14%) males constitute 43 (2.66%) of the population and females 40 (2.48%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KHAIRTHAL and Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
