Mitasar is a small village of 4115 hectares in Sardarshahar Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mitasar depends on SARDARSHAHAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mitasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Mitasar's pin code is 331403[4], and village code is 00616500. The area of Mitasar is segregated as 3911.64 hectares unirrigated, the 7 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 196.29 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Mitasar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Mitasar is a census village in the district of Churu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2062 and has total administration over 322 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Mitasar has 414 children, 226 boys and 188 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 664 (32.20%) males constitute 354 (17.17%) of the population and females 310 (15.03%).

The workforce is 539 male, 399 female with 922 (98.29%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 532 males and 390 females. 400 males and 323 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 41 male and 17 female agricultural labor. 16 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SARDARSHAHAR and Churu to sell furniture and make their living.
