Mogana is a small village of 1099 hectares in Nathdwara Tehsil in Rajsamand district, for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mogana depends on NATHDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 12.25% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mogana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mogana's pin code is 313204[4], and village code is 03044900. The area of Mogana is segregated as 17.29 hectares irrigated area, 241.26 hectares unirrigated, the 784.28 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 56.03 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mogana is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1581 and has total administration over 368 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Mogana has 261 children, 139 boys and 122 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 216 (13.66%) males constitute 100 (6.33%) of the population and females 116 (7.34%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 584 (36.94%) males constitute 298 (18.85%) of the population and females 286 (18.09%).

According to a census 2011 report, 922 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 429 male, 493 female with 379 (41.11%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 350 males and 29 females. 182 males and 8 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 17 male and 6 female agricultural labor. 543 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NATHDWARA and Rajsamand to sell juggary and make their living.
