Mohana is a small village of 2097 hectares in Rawatbhata Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mohana depends on Rawatbhata, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 142.04% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mohana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Mohana's pin code is 323307[4], and village code is 03591000. The area of Mohana is segregated as 142.04 hectares irrigated area, 445.84 hectares unirrigated, the 122.6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1264.93 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mohana has One post office (Mohana B.O). Mohana has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Mohana is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 846 and has total administration over 181 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Mohana has 121 children, 68 boys and 53 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 85 (10.05%) males constitute 46 (5.44%) of the population and females 39 (4.61%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 215 (25.41%) males constitute 119 (14.07%) of the population and females 96 (11.35%).

The workforce is 243 male, 220 female with 127 (27.43%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 115 males and 12 females. 59 males and 1 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 13 male and 2 female agricultural labor. 336 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rawatbhata and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
