Mohsand is a small village of 22.49 hectares in Fatehpur Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mohsand depends on Tikait Nagar (N), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Mohsand's pin code is 225302[4], and village code is 05691800. The area of Mohsand is segregated as 500.028 hectares irrigated area, 25.837 hectares unirrigated area. the 21.674 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 105.122 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Mohsand has One post office (Tikaitganj B.O) and Two public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Mohsand has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Mohsand is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 11119 and has total administration over 1832 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

According to a census 2011 report, 3834 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 3064 male, 770 female with 2500 (65.21%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 2219 males and 281 females. 660 males and 65 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 442 male and 61 female agricultural labor. 1334 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tikait Nagar (N) and Barabanki to sell parched rice and make their living.
