Moondla is a small village of 608 hectares in Pirawa Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Moondla depends on Jhalawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Moondla is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Moondla's pin code is 326036[4], and village code is 03984100. The area of Moondla is segregated as 506.43 hectares irrigated area, 26.13 hectares unirrigated, the 41.98 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 33.56 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Moondla has One post office (Kutki B.O) and One public telephone. Moondla has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Moondla is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1133 and has total administration over 207 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 247 (21.80%) males constitute 128 (11.30%) of the population and females 119 (10.50%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
