Morcha is a small village of 943 hectares in Kumbhalgarh Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Morcha depends on NATHDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Morcha is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Morcha's pin code is 313321[4], and village code is 03007900. The area of Morcha is segregated as 55 hectares irrigated area, 76 hectares unirrigated, the 468 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 343.89 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Morcha has One post office (Morcha B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Morcha has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Morcha is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1404 and has total administration over 339 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Morcha has 234 children, 116 boys and 118 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 129 (9.19%) males constitute 65 (4.63%) of the population and females 64 (4.56%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 643 (45.80%) males constitute 317 (22.58%) of the population and females 326 (23.22%).

The workforce is 380 male, 414 female with 767 (96.6%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 372 males and 395 females. 351 males and 384 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 1 female agricultural labor. 27 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NATHDWARA and Rajsamand to sell juggary and make their living.
