Morda is a small village of 917 hectares in Todaraisingh Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Morda depends on Todaraisingh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Morda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Morda's pin code is 304505[4], and village code is 02655900. The area of Morda is segregated as 153.49 hectares irrigated area, 449.44 hectares unirrigated, the 56.98 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 257.23 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Morda has One public telephone. Morda has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Morda is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1057 and has total administration over 230 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Morda has 180 children, 94 boys and 86 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 816 (77.20%) males constitute 426 (40.30%) of the population and females 390 (36.90%).

The workforce is 270 male, 286 female with 554 (99.64%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 268 males and 286 females. 188 males and 99 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 71 male and 180 female agricultural labor. 2 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Todaraisingh and Tonk to sell ghee and make their living.
