Moreda is a small village of 199 hectares in Alwar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Moreda depends on ALWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 13.20% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Moreda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Moreda's pin code is 301030[4], and village code is 00857800. The area of Moreda is segregated as 139.18 hectares irrigated area, 20.09 hectares unirrigated, the 22.85 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 16.69 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Moreda is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 857 and has total administration over 128 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Moreda has 169 children, 80 boys and 89 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 375 (43.76%) males constitute 196 (22.87%) of the population and females 179 (20.89%).

The workforce is 188 male, 181 female with 311 (84.28%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 184 males and 127 females. 111 males and 104 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 16 male and 14 female agricultural labor. 58 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
