Morela is a small village of 279 hectares in Chhabra Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Morela depends on Chhabra, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Morela is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Morela's pin code is 325220[4], and village code is 03954200. The area of Morela is segregated as 54.05 hectares irrigated area, 116.25 hectares unirrigated, the 18.74 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 76.43 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Morela has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Morela is a census village in the district of Baran, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 570 and has total administration over 121 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Morela has 78 children, 36 boys and 42 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 54 (9.47%) males constitute 28 (4.91%) of the population and females 26 (4.56%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 40 (7.02%) males constitute 22 (3.86%) of the population and females 18 (3.16%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chhabra and Baran to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
