Mori is a small village of 402 hectares in Pirawa Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mori depends on Jhalawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mori is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mori's pin code is 326513[4], and village code is 03986200. The area of Mori is segregated as 49.92 hectares irrigated area, the 16.25 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13.49 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mori has One post office (Karodia B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Mori has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Mori is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 913 and has total administration over 173 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 63 (6.90%) males constitute 36 (3.94%) of the population and females 27 (2.96%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 168 (18.40%) males constitute 86 (9.42%) of the population and females 82 (8.98%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
