Moriyana is a small village of 1112 hectares in Degana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Moriyana depends on Goredi Chancha, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 100.75% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Moriyana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Moriyana's pin code is 341515[4], and village code is 01864300. The area of Moriyana is segregated as 405 hectares irrigated area, 606 hectares unirrigated, the 63.75 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 37 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Moriyana is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2059 and has total administration over 390 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 482 male, 429 female with 810 (88.91%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 448 males and 362 females. 233 males and 240 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 21 male and 28 female agricultural labor. 101 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Goredi Chancha and Nagaur to sell furniture and make their living.
