Morodi is a small village of 1124 hectares in Bansur Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Morodi depends on KOTPUTLI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 100.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Morodi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Morodi's pin code is 301402[4], and village code is 00868400. The area of Morodi is segregated as 247 hectares irrigated area, 647 hectares unirrigated, the 62 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 168 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Morodi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Morodi is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1737 and has total administration over 296 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Morodi has 292 children, 161 boys and 131 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 388 (22.34%) males constitute 193 (11.11%) of the population and females 195 (11.23%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 15 (0.86%) males constitute 9 (0.52%) of the population and females 6 (0.35%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KOTPUTLI and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
