Motiwara is a small village of 708 hectares in Rajgarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Motiwara depends on RAJGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 125.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Motiwara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Motiwara's pin code is 301415[4], and village code is 00910300. The area of Motiwara is segregated as 275 hectares irrigated area, 180 hectares unirrigated, the 36 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 27 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Motiwara has One post office (Motiwara B.O) and Ten public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Motiwara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Motiwara is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3151 and has total administration over 641 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Motiwara has 440 children, 240 boys and 200 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 981 (31.13%) males constitute 511 (16.22%) of the population and females 470 (14.92%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 307 (9.74%) males constitute 162 (5.14%) of the population and females 145 (4.60%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAJGARH and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
