Mundeta is a small village of 995 hectares in Shahpura Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mundeta depends on Shahpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and One spring. Mundeta is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Mundeta's pin code is 311404[4], and village code is 02824200. The area of Mundeta is segregated as 44.99 hectares irrigated area, 115 hectares unirrigated, the 478 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 357 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mundeta has One public telephone. Mundeta has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Mundeta is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1267 and has total administration over 291 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Mundeta has 219 children, 117 boys and 102 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 148 (11.68%) males constitute 79 (6.24%) of the population and females 69 (5.45%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 27 (2.13%) males constitute 12 (0.95%) of the population and females 15 (1.18%).

The workforce is 363 male, 347 female with 389 (54.79%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 327 males and 62 females. 252 males and 50 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 38 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 321 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Shahpura and Bhilwara to sell ghee and make their living.
