Muthana is a small village of 392 hectares in Desuri Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Muthana depends on Sadri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 34.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Muthana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Muthana's pin code is 306702[4], and village code is 02466300. The area of Muthana is segregated as 93 hectares irrigated area, 118 hectares unirrigated, the 151 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 30 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Muthana is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 546 and has total administration over 118 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Muthana has 108 children, 58 boys and 50 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 128 (23.44%) males constitute 61 (11.17%) of the population and females 67 (12.27%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 8 (1.47%) males constitute 2 (0.37%) of the population and females 6 (1.10%).

The workforce is 132 male, 173 female with 294 (96.39%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 131 males and 163 females. 51 males and 13 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 7 male and 81 female agricultural labor. 11 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sadri and Pali to sell bricks and make their living.
