Muwana is a small village of 1535 hectares in Nawa Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Muwana depends on Kuchaman City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 297.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Muwana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Muwana's pin code is 341508[4], and village code is 01897900. The area of Muwana is segregated as 297 hectares irrigated area, 1042 hectares unirrigated, the 49 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 45 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Muwana has One post office (Muwana B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Muwana has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Muwana is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2699 and has total administration over 498 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Muwana has 394 children, 224 boys and 170 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1057 (39.16%) males constitute 557 (20.64%) of the population and females 500 (18.53%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 38 (1.41%) males constitute 21 (0.78%) of the population and females 17 (0.63%).

The workforce is 711 male, 535 female with 680 (54.57%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 547 males and 133 females. 214 males and 95 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 72 male and 13 female agricultural labor. 566 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kuchaman City and Nagaur to sell wheat and make their living.
