Nadiya is a small village of 568 hectares in Sagwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nadiya depends on Galiakot, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 13.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Nadiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Galiakot and Dungarpur to sell ghee and make their living.
