Nagar is a small village of 579 hectares in Kherwara Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nagar depends on Kherwara Chhaoni, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nagar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nagar's pin code is 313804[4], and village code is 03282400. The area of Nagar is segregated as 3 hectares irrigated area, 165 hectares unirrigated, the 143.38 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 268 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nagar is a census village in the district of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1700 and has total administration over 356 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 316 (18.59%) males constitute 164 (9.65%) of the population and females 152 (8.94%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 243 (14.29%) males constitute 126 (7.41%) of the population and females 117 (6.88%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kherwara Chhaoni and Udaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
