Nagoa is a small village of 155 hectares in Bardez Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nagoa depends on CALANGUTE, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nagoa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Nagoa's pin code is 403516[5], and village code is 00004000. The area of Nagoa is segregated as 139.74 hectares unirrigated, the 3.31 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11.53 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of CALANGUTE and North Goa to sell coconut and make their living.
