Nahida is a small village of 294 hectares in Mahwa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nahida depends on Mahwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nahida is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nahida's pin code is 322240[4], and village code is 01375400. The area of Nahida is segregated as 167.29 hectares irrigated area, 94.66 hectares unirrigated, the 17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 15.27 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Nahida has One post office (Nahira B.O) and One public telephone. Nahida has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Nahida is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2304 and has total administration over 383 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 12 (0.52%) males constitute 7 (0.30%) of the population and females 5 (0.22%).

According to a census 2011 report, 1196 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 603 male, 593 female with 717 (59.95%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 512 males and 205 females. 419 males and 124 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 21 male and 76 female agricultural labor. 479 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mahwa and Dausa to sell earthen pot and make their living.
