Nahila is a small village of 514 hectares in Rajakhera Tehsil in Dholpur district, also known as the land of red stone in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nahila depends on RAJAKHERA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 350.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nahila is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Nahila's pin code is 328025[3], and village code is 01174800. The area of Nahila is segregated as 350 hectares irrigated area, 126 hectares unirrigated, the 13 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 25 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nahila has One post office (Nahila B.O) and One public telephone. Nahila has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Nahila is a census village in the district of Dholpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2497 and has total administration over 420 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 1339 (53.62%) males constitute 692 (27.71%) of the population and females 647 (25.91%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAJAKHERA and Dholpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
