Nahri is a small village of 1482 hectares in Raipur Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nahri depends on Gangapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 125.04% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nahri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nahri's pin code is 311803[4], and village code is 02857200. The area of Nahri is segregated as 203.13 hectares irrigated area, 706.1 hectares unirrigated, the 214.06 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 359.07 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nahri has One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Nahri has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Nahri is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3050 and has total administration over 575 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Nahri has 497 children, 279 boys and 218 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 441 (14.46%) males constitute 232 (7.61%) of the population and females 209 (6.85%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 238 (7.80%) males constitute 126 (4.13%) of the population and females 112 (3.67%).

According to a census 2011 report, 1572 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 903 male, 669 female with 1430 (90.97%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 846 males and 584 females. 463 males and 339 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 88 male and 146 female agricultural labor. 142 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Gangapur and Bhilwara to sell ghee and make their living.
