Nakola is a small village of 755 hectares in Kotra Tehsil in Udaipur district, also called 'the city of lakes' set amidst the Aravalli Ranges in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nakola depends on Khedbrahma (Gujrat), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Nakola is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nakola's pin code is 313701[4], and village code is 03113300. The area of Nakola is segregated as 7.25 hectares irrigated area, 56.41 hectares unirrigated, the 30.09 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 72.49 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nakola has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Nakola is a census village in the district of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 827 and has total administration over 131 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Nakola has 226 children, 101 boys and 125 girls.
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 816 (98.67%) males constitute 401 (48.49%) of the population and females 415 (50.18%).

The workforce is 175 male, 180 female with 12 (03.38%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 9 males and 3 females. 5 males are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 1 male. 343 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Khedbrahma (Gujrat) and Udaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
