Naloo is a small village of 2055 hectares in Kishangarh Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Naloo depends on Kishangarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 91.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Naloo is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Naloo's pin code is 305816[4], and village code is 02491300. The area of Naloo is segregated as 191 hectares irrigated area, 1137 hectares unirrigated, the 296 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 431 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Naloo has One post office (Tiloniya S.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Naloo has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Naloo is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2289 and has total administration over 392 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Naloo has 365 children, 185 boys and 180 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 372 (16.25%) males constitute 202 (8.82%) of the population and females 170 (7.43%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 29 (1.27%) males constitute 17 (0.74%) of the population and females 12 (0.52%).

According to a census 2011 report, 848 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 598 male, 250 female with 783 (92.33%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 578 males and 205 females. 153 males and 122 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 62 male and 34 female agricultural labor. 65 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kishangarh and Ajmer to sell earthen pot and make their living.
