Nalwai is a small village of 243 hectares in Kushalgarh Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nalwai depends on Kushalgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 10.12% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nalwai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nalwai's pin code is 327801[4], and village code is 03521100. The area of Nalwai is segregated as 28.12 hectares irrigated area, 114.06 hectares unirrigated, the 89 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nalwai is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 678 and has total administration over 144 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled tribe counts for 678 (100.0%) males constitute 335 (49.41%) of the population and females 343 (50.59%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kushalgarh and Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
