Nandiya is a small village of 3147 hectares in Pindwara Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nandiya depends on PINDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nandiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nandiya's pin code is 307022[4], and village code is 02361800. The area of Nandiya is segregated as 48 hectares unirrigated, the 301 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1612 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nandiya has One post office (Nandia B.O) and One Hundred public telephones. Nandiya has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Nandiya is a census village in the district of Sirohi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2663 and has total administration over 5159 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Nandiya has 371 children, 335 boys and 855 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 446 (16.75%) males constitute 409 (15.36%) of the population and females 670 (25.16%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 329 (12.35%) males constitute 341 (12.81%) of the population and females 2942 (110.48%).

The workforce is 695 male, 1365 female with 1268 (91.09%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 97 males and 221 females. 33 males and 127 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 29 male and 54 female agricultural labor. 124 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of PINDWARA and Sirohi to sell brick and make their living.
