Nandsi is a small village of 1589 hectares in Bhinay Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nandsi depends on Vijainagar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 1.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nandsi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nandsi's pin code is 305628[4], and village code is 02565500. The area of Nandsi is segregated as 3 hectares irrigated area, 1202 hectares unirrigated, the 222 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 162 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nandsi has One post office (Nandsi B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Nandsi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Nandsi is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1860 and has total administration over 350 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Nandsi has 271 children, 147 boys and 124 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 622 (33.44%) males constitute 303 (16.29%) of the population and females 319 (17.15%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 7 (0.38%) males constitute 3 (0.16%) of the population and females 4 (0.22%).

The workforce is 540 male, 466 female with 866 (86.08%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 489 males and 377 females. 394 males and 336 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 8 male and 10 female agricultural labor. 140 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Vijainagar and Ajmer to sell earthen pot and make their living.
