Nandwan is a small village of 2361 hectares in Luni Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nandwan depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nandwan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nandwan's pin code is 342013[4], and village code is 01994800. The area of Nandwan is segregated as 56.65 hectares irrigated area, 2061.4 hectares unirrigated, the 169.96 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 72.84 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nandwan is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 5648 and has total administration over 926 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 1399 male, 1021 female with 1956 (80.83%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1297 males and 659 females. 739 males and 400 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 148 male and 139 female agricultural labor. 464 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell milk and make their living.
