Nani is a small village of 1196 hectares in Sikar Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nani depends on Sikar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 454.09% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Nani's pin code is 332001[4], and village code is 01690500. The area of Nani is segregated as 454.09 hectares irrigated area, 667.28 hectares unirrigated, the 32.07 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 42.55 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nani has Fifty public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Nani has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Nani is a census village in the district of Sikar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2989 and has total administration over 471 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Nani has 404 children, 225 boys and 179 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 468 (15.66%) males constitute 250 (8.36%) of the population and females 218 (7.29%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 39 (1.30%) males constitute 22 (0.74%) of the population and females 17 (0.57%).

The workforce is 811 male, 484 female with 1120 (86.49%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 744 males and 376 females. 397 males and 307 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 84 male and 47 female agricultural labor. 175 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sikar to sell furniture and make their living.
