Nanwas is a small village of 975 hectares in Buhana Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nanwas depends on SURAJGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 252.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nanwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Nanwas's pin code is 333034[4], and village code is 00718700. The area of Nanwas is segregated as 252 hectares irrigated area, 650 hectares unirrigated, the 72.87 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

Nanwas is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1541 and has total administration over 302 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 252 (16.35%) males constitute 131 (8.50%) of the population and females 121 (7.85%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SURAJGARH and Jhunjhunu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
