Narena is a small village of 1569 hectares in Kishangarh Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Narena depends on Kishangarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Narena is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Narena's pin code is 305812[4], and village code is 02488700. The area of Narena is segregated as 93.1 hectares irrigated area, 1125.23 hectares unirrigated, the 260.06 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 91.04 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Narena is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1640 and has total administration over 285 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 385 (23.48%) males constitute 190 (11.59%) of the population and females 195 (11.89%).

According to a census 2011 report, 810 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 424 male, 386 female with 712 (87.9%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 405 males and 307 females. 162 males and 176 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 72 male and 85 female agricultural labor. 98 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kishangarh and Ajmer to sell ghee and make their living.
