Narsas is a small village of 1256 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Narsas depends on Lachhmangarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 53.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Narsas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Narsas's pin code is 332318[4], and village code is 01677000. The area of Narsas is segregated as 53 hectares irrigated area, 1084 hectares unirrigated, the 85.02 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 34.1 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Narsas has One post office (Jajod S.O (Lachhmangarh)) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Narsas has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Narsas is a census village in the district of Sikar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2203 and has total administration over 409 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Narsas has 333 children, 188 boys and 145 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 439 (19.93%) males constitute 237 (10.76%) of the population and females 202 (9.17%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 7 (0.32%) males constitute 4 (0.18%) of the population and females 3 (0.14%).

The workforce is 519 male, 492 female with 403 (39.86%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 320 males and 83 females. 231 males and 69 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 39 male and 9 female agricultural labor. 608 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Lachhmangarh and Sikar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
