Nasirabad is a small village of 759 hectares in Jhalrapatan Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nasirabad depends on Bakani, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 260.92% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nasirabad is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nasirabad's pin code is 326023[4], and village code is 04020500. The area of Nasirabad is segregated as 335.01 hectares irrigated area, 236.97 hectares unirrigated, the 113.31 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 73.63 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nasirabad is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1884 and has total administration over 414 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 221 (11.73%) males constitute 122 (6.48%) of the population and females 99 (5.25%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 717 (38.06%) males constitute 351 (18.63%) of the population and females 366 (19.43%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bakani and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
