Nathwana is a small village of 5416 hectares in Lunkaransar Tehsil in Bikaner district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nathwana depends on BIKANER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Nathwana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Canal. Nathwana's pin code is 334603[4], and village code is 00521000. The area of Nathwana is segregated as 1865.25 hectares irrigated area, 2400.25 hectares unirrigated, the 50.12 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1000.13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nathwana has One post office (Nathwana B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Nathwana has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Nathwana is a census village in the district of Bikaner, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2431 and has total administration over 378 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Nathwana has 431 children, 221 boys and 210 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 723 (29.74%) males constitute 372 (15.30%) of the population and females 351 (14.44%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 4 (0.16%) males constitute 2 (0.08%) of the population and females 2 (0.08%).

The workforce is 712 male, 591 female with 960 (73.68%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 515 males and 445 females. 354 males and 125 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 126 male and 57 female agricultural labor. 343 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bikaner to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
