Nawabpura is a small village of 306 hectares in Tonk Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nawabpura depends on Tonk, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 80.85% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Nawabpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nawabpura's pin code is 304001[4], and village code is 02637400. The area of Nawabpura is segregated as 122.47 hectares irrigated area, 70.56 hectares unirrigated, the 95.32 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 17.17 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nawabpura is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 572 and has total administration over 115 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled tribe counts for 539 (94.23%) males constitute 275 (48.08%) of the population and females 264 (46.15%).

The workforce is 130 male, 152 female with 124 (43.97%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 112 males and 12 females. 75 males and 4 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 8 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 158 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
