Naya Gaon is a small village of 735 hectares in Salumbar Tehsil in UDAIPUR district in the state of RAJASTHAN, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Naya Gaon depends on Udaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 57.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Naya Gaon is also near by One lake. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Naya Gaon's pin code is 313027[4], and village code is 03126400. The area of Naya Gaon is segregated as 77 hectares irrigated area, 89 hectares unirrigated, the 25 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 72 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of UDAIPUR to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
