Neshal is a small village of 1690 hectares in Rajgarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Neshal depends on RAJGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 602.05% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Neshal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Neshal's pin code is 331303[4], and village code is 00601500. The area of Neshal is segregated as 602.05 hectares irrigated area, 864.25 hectares unirrigated, the 140.15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 83.35 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Neshal has One post office (Nesal B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Neshal has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Neshal is a census village in the district of Churu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4160 and has total administration over 810 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Neshal has 592 children, 330 boys and 262 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 883 (21.23%) males constitute 445 (10.70%) of the population and females 438 (10.53%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 28 (0.67%) males constitute 12 (0.29%) of the population and females 16 (0.38%).

The workforce is 1077 male, 1027 female with 1059 (50.33%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 770 males and 289 females. 478 males and 233 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 50 male and 15 female agricultural labor. 1045 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAJGARH and Churu to sell brick and make their living.
