The New Party, often known as Partido Novo (stylized as NOVO), is a political party in Brazil that was established on February 12, 2011. It adheres to the principles of classical liberalism and libertarianism.

On July 23, 2014, the party was officially formed after receiving support in the form of signatures from 493,316 individuals. On September 15, 2015, the decision to establish it was made. The candidate for the party proposed using the number "30" as their electoral identifier. It adheres philosophically to the principles of traditional liberalism.

The New Party is committed to enacting policies that will lessen the role of the state in the economic system. It does not express any opinion on social matters such as the abortion debate or the debate over whether or not drugs should be legalised. The party supports marital equality and is in favour of the right to bear arms. The party presents itself in the public eye as a traditional liberal organisation.

Among the many policies that the party proposes enacting are changes to the methods through which political parties are permitted to get funds, the elimination of voting quotas, and the defence of privately funded political campaigns.

Despite the fact that it is a supporter of social programmes like Bolsa Famlia, the party is committed to the privatisation of state-owned businesses such as Petrobras and Banco do Brasil. Voucher policies are supported by the party in an effort to reduce the disparity in quality between public and private schools. In a nutshell, he contends that the State's attention should be directed on the provision of fundamental services, including education, health care, and safety.

The party is opposed to substantial regulation in a variety of facets of Brazilian society, and its members are of the opinion that the central bank ought to be autonomous from the Brazilian government.

The protection of a democratic state that upholds civil freedoms, encourages entrepreneurial endeavours, and encourages public engagement in political life are at the centre of the party's platform. According to the individuals who founded the party, the most important purpose of the organisation is to ensure economic liberty as well as "ending privileges" rather than "supporting an elite."
