Newar is a small village of 661 hectares in Jamwa Ramgarh Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Newar depends on Dausa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 214.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Newar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Newar's pin code is 303305[4], and village code is 01606200. The area of Newar is segregated as 214 hectares irrigated area, 240 hectares unirrigated, the 158 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 49 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Newar has One post office (Newar B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Newar has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Newar is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1929 and has total administration over 273 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Newar has 286 children, 153 boys and 133 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 91 (4.72%) males constitute 50 (2.59%) of the population and females 41 (2.13%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 1273 (65.99%) males constitute 654 (33.90%) of the population and females 619 (32.09%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dausa and Jaipur to sell mawa and make their living.
