Nichla Ghantala is a small village of 597 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nichla Ghantala depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 5.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Nichla Ghantala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Nichla Ghantala's pin code is 327001[4], and village code is 03430400. The area of Nichla Ghantala is segregated as 302 hectares irrigated area, 60 hectares unirrigated, the 54 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 64.06 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nichla Ghantala is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3749 and has total administration over 773 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 204 (5.44%) males constitute 109 (2.91%) of the population and females 95 (2.53%).

According to a census 2011 report, 2021 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1072 male, 949 female with 1151 (56.95%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 850 males and 301 females. 594 males and 182 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 26 male and 44 female agricultural labor. 870 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
