Nimahera is a small village of 832 hectares in Peeplu Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nimahera depends on Tonk, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nimahera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nimahera's pin code is 304504[4], and village code is 02610500. The area of Nimahera is segregated as 211.89 hectares irrigated area, 385.02 hectares unirrigated, the 109.36 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 125.7 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nimahera has Five public telephones. Nimahera has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Nimahera is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1178 and has total administration over 261 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Nimahera has 148 children, 74 boys and 74 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 375 (31.83%) males constitute 196 (16.64%) of the population and females 179 (15.20%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 241 (20.46%) males constitute 120 (10.19%) of the population and females 121 (10.27%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
